''L'isola dei famosi'' (; Italian for ''The Celebrity Island'' or ''The island of the famous'') is an Italian Reality television, reality show, first aired on Rai 2 in 2003, before moving to Canale 5 in 2015. Charlie Parsons
Charles Andrew Parsons is a British television producer known as the creator of the ''Survivor'' franchise. He also created ''The Big Breakfast'' and '' The Word''. Education Parsons was educated at Tonbridge School, a boarding independent school in Tonbridge in Kent in South East England, and credits the tough boarding school regime he endured there in the early 1970s, which at the time was commonplace, as providing an inspiration for his creation of the series ''Survivor''. He then went to Pembroke College at the University of Oxford, where he studied English literature and afterwards trained as a journalist. ''L'isola dei famosi 9'' is the ninth season of the reality television ''L'isola dei famosi'' and the Italian version of the reality show franchise ''Survivor'', aired in prime time on Rai 2 from 25 January to 5 April 2012, conducted by Nicola Savino, supported in the studio by commentators Diego Passoni, Lucilla Agosti, Laura Barriales (present only for the first two episodes), Nina Morić (present only for the first three episodes) and Barbara De Rossi (present from the third episode onwards), and with the participation of the correspondent Vladimir Luxuria. The 2009 Honduran coup d'état, which took place during the 2009 Honduran constitutional crisis, occurred after President of Honduras, President Manuel Zelaya failed to follow a Supreme Court of Honduras, Honduran Supreme Court ruling. On 28 June 2009, the Military of Honduras, Honduran Army ousted him and sent him into exile. Zelaya had attempted to schedule a non-binding poll to hold a Honduran fourth ballot box referendum, referendum on convening a constituent assembly for writing a new Constitution of Honduras, constitution. Cayos Cochinos
The Cayos Cochinos or Cochinos Cays consist of two small islands (''Cayo Menor'' and ''Cayo Grande'') and 13 smaller coral cays situated northeast of La Ceiba on the northern shores of Honduras. Although geographically separate, they belong to the Bay Islands department and are part of the Roatán municipality. The population numbered 108 at the 2001 census.
