L'Hôme-Chamondot
L'Hôme-Chamondot () is a commune in the Orne department in north-western France. In 1812 the former commune Brotz was merged into L'Hôme-Chamondot. Geography The Commune along with another 70 communes shares part of a 47,681 hectare, Natura 2000 conservation area, called the Forêts et étangs du Perche. Points of interest National heritage sites The Commune has two buildings and areas listed as a Monument historique. *Chauffetières brickworks originally built in 1760 and still in use today making hand made bricks, this brickwork was registered as a monument in 1995. *Gannes castle ruins of a castle from the Middle Ages, registered as a Monument historique in 1933.
