Louis Dearborn L'Amour (; né LaMoore; March 22, 1908 – June 10, 1988) was an American novelist and short story writer. His books consisted primarily of Western novels, though he called his work "frontier stories". His most widely known Western fiction works include '' Last of the Breed'', ''Hondo'', '' Shalako'', and the Sackett series''.'' L'Amour also wrote historical fiction ('' The Walking Drum''), science fiction ('' The Haunted Mesa''), non-fiction (''Frontier''), and poetry and short-story collections. Many of his stories were made into films. His books remain popular and most have gone through multiple printings. At the time of his death, almost all of his 105 existing works (89 novels, 14 short-story collections, and two full-length works of nonfiction) were still in print, and he was "one of the world's most popular writers". Michelle L'amour (born April 15, 1980) is an American neo-burlesque performer who grew up in Orland Park, Illinois. In 2006, she performed stripteases on NBC's ''America's Got Talent'', Showtime's ''Sexual Healing'', and in small touring performances. Her tagline is "The Ass That Goes POW!" and she sells related promotional products (e.g. The Michelle L'amour Signature Fanny Facial). Early life and performances Michelle L'amour was born on April 15, 1980, and began studying ballet, jazz, hip hop, modern and lyrical dancing at the age of 15. She began dancing burlesque striptease at age 22. While earning a degree in finance from the University of Illinois, she began her dancing career. Randall A. Wulff, better known by his stage name Lewis, and also known as Lewis Baloue and Randy Duke, is a Canadian singer and musician. He released a number of albums in the 1980s, but did not become widely known until they were re-released in 2014. Early and personal life Lewis' family live in British Columbia but he is estranged from them; in August 2014 his brother stated that he had not seen Lewis since 2007. His father and uncle had lost touch with him some years previously. During the recording process of his 1980s albums Lewis worked as a stockbroker, and lived in Calgary. He lived with his girlfriend in an apartment with all-white furniture. ''L'Amour'', also known as ''Andy Warhol's L'Amour'', is a 1972 underground film written and directed by Paul Morrissey and Andy Warhol. The film stars Donna Jordan, Michael Sklar, Jane Forth, and Max Delys. A farcical comedy meant to be campy and raunchy, it was The Factory's version of the 1953 film ''How To Marry A Millionaire''. The film received mixed reviews from critics and was accused of being too subdued and not as diverting as the previous Factory theatrical release ''Heat'' (1972). L'Amour was a music venue in Brooklyn, New York, run by Mike and George Parente. L'Amour opened as a disco club in 1978, transformed into a rock club in 1981 and closed in February 2004. It was promoted as the "Rock Capital of Brooklyn". Commonly pronounced "La-Morz" by patrons, the venue hosted many of hard rock and heavy metal's biggest artists, including Iron Maiden, Type O Negative, Kiss, Megadeth and Metallica, as well as frequently featuring underground bands from across the country and across the globe. The original L'Amour in Brooklyn remained a relevant part of the rock-metal scene for almost 25 years.
