Pop Music
Pop music is a genre of popular music that originated in its modern form during the mid-1950s in the United States and the United Kingdom.S. Frith, W. Straw, and J. Street, eds, ''iarchive:cambridgecompani00frit, The Cambridge Companion to Pop and Rock'' (Cambridge: Cambridge University Press), , pp. 95–105. ''Rock music, Rock'' and ''pop'' music remained roughly synonymous until the late 1960s, after which ''pop'' became associated with music that was more commercial, wikt:ephemeral, ephemeral, and accessible. Identifying factors of pop music usually include repeated choruses and Hook (music), hooks, short to medium-length songs written in a basic format (often the verse–chorus form, verse–chorus structure), and rhythms or tempos that can be easily danced to. Much of pop music also borrows elements from other styles such as rock, hip hop, urban contemporary, ...

Lento Violento
Lento violento, sometimes shortened to simply lento, is a style of electronic dance music that developed in Italy. Its name means ''slow (and) violent'', as this style typically has a tempo between 85 and 115 beats per minute (BPM). It consists of a hard kick, like the ones present in hardcore or hardstyle, but played at a very slow tempo, with vocal samples and dark and acid sounds or loops. Origins The first tracks with the lento violento sound were "Anima Ladina" by Ottomix (1991), "Panic Mouse (stress mix)" by Gigi D'Agostino (1996), "Ibiza" by Ottomix (1998) and Alex Castelli's "Enjoy", that was co-produced by Ottomix. Although at that time, they were not called "lento violento" yet. These tracks were influenced by the more techno and trance-oriented tracks like Mauro Picotto's "Lizard", "Iguana", "Pulsar", "Tuttincoro" or "Raggattak" by Joman (Joy Kitikonti), all from the Italian BXR label. While some individual tracks were popular in the clubs, the style itself was not ...

On Eagle's Wings
"On Eagle's Wings" is a Christian hymn by Fr. Michael Joncas. Originally composed for the funeral of a friend's father in 1976 and published in 1979, the song unexpectedly gained significant popularity in both Catholic and Protestant hymnody. It has been quoted several times by former U.S. president Joe Biden, has been performed by Michael Crawford and Lana Del Rey, and was performed at the funerals of Beau Biden and Luciano Pavarotti. While it has also been criticized for its saccharine and folksy approach to scripture, it is a popular hymn at Christian funerals. Originally written in English, it has been translated into Italian, Spanish, and Polish. Composition In January 1976, Jan Michael Joncas was visiting a friend, Doug Hall, a seminarian of the Archdiocese of Omaha, at the Catholic University of America. Hall asked Joncas if he would compose a hymn for the funeral of his father, H. Douglas Hall, who had recently suffered a heart attack and had a poor prognosis. H. Dougla ...

4 (four) is a number, numeral (linguistics), numeral and numerical digit, digit. It is the natural number following 3 and preceding 5. It is a square number, the smallest semiprime and composite number, and is tetraphobia, considered unlucky in many East Asian cultures. Evolution of the Hindu-Arabic digit Brahmic numerals represented 1, 2, and 3 with as many lines. 4 was simplified by joining its four lines into a cross that looks like the modern plus sign. The Shunga Empire, Shunga would add a horizontal line on top of the digit, and the Northern Satraps, Kshatrapa and Pallava dynasty, Pallava evolved the digit to a point where the speed of writing was a secondary concern. The Arabs' 4 still had the early concept of the cross, but for the sake of efficiency, was made in one stroke by connecting the "western" end to the "northern" end; the "eastern" end was finished off with a curve. The Europeans dropped the finishing curve and gradually made the digit less cursive, endi ...
