Savaş Yurderi (born 10 February 1975), known by his stage name Kool Savas, is a German rapper of Turkish Origin. Along with Taktlo$$, he formed the highly influential German rap duo Westberlin Maskulin (1997–2000). He was also a founding member of the German rap crew Masters of Rap in 1996. Savas is considered one of the most successful German rappers. In 2012, he collaborated in "Xavas", a duo formation with Xavier Naidoo, a German soul and R&B singer-songwriter and actor in the album ''Gespaltene Persönlichkeit''. Aykut Anhan (born 16 December 1985), known by his stage name Haftbefehl (meaning "arrest warrant" in German), is a German rapper of Turkish-Kurdish origin. He was signed to his own record label Azzlack, before signing with the label Echte Musik. Biography Haftbefehl was born Aykut Anhan in Offenbach am Main, West Germany, on 16 December 1985. He grew up in a Turkish-speaking household, raised by a Turkish mother (from Giresun) and a Zaza–Kurdish father from East Turkish province Tunceli. By Anhan's own account, he dropped out of school after his father's suicide which happened when he was 14. Raymond "Rea" Michael Garvey (born 3 May 1973) is an Irish singer, songwriter and guitarist based in Germany. In 1998, he formed the band Reamonn. Over the 11 years that Garvey was their frontman, they saw chart-topping success in Europe, with a number of gold and platinum selling albums, Tuesday, Dream No. 7, Beautiful Sky, Wish and Eleven and several sold out European tours. Samy Sorge (; born 19 December 1977), commonly known as Samy Deluxe, is a German rapper and record producer from Hamburg. Early life Samy was two years old when his Sudanese father left Germany. Samy grew up with his mother's family. His half-sister was born shortly after his father left. The family lived in Barmbek for many years, then moved to Eppendorf, a better-off part of Hamburg. His family was able to make the move upon the recommendation of a family friend after his mother remarried.
