Kolmonen
Kolmonen or III divisioona is the fifth level in the Finnish football league system, league system of Finnish football and comprises 108 Finland, Finnish football (soccer), football teams. The III divisioona was introduced in 1973 and in the mid-1990s became known as the Kolmonen (''Number Three'' in English and ''Trean'' in Swedish). Until the end of 2023 season, Kolmonen was the fourth level in the pyramid, but after the creation of new second-tier Ykkösliiga, Kolmonen fell down one level, starting in 2024. The competition There are 108 clubs in the Kolmonen, divided in 10 groups of 8 to 12 teams each representing a geographical area. During the course of a season (starting in April and ending in October) each club plays the others twice, once on their home ground and once on that of their opponents. The top team in each Kolmonen group is promoted to Kakkonen and the two lowest placed teams are normally relegated to the Nelonen (football), Nelonen. Administration Football ...

Jyväskylän Seudun Palloseura (abbreviated JPS) is a sports club from Jyväskylä, Finland. The club was formed in 1962 and their home ground is at the Vehkalammen kenttä. The men's football team currently plays in the Kolmonen (Third Division). The other main sporting activity run by the club is bandy. Their home ice is Viitaniemen tekojäärata and they play in Bandyliiga, the top league for bandy in Finland. Bandy JPS won the Finnish Cup The Finnish Cup (; ) is Finland's main national cup competition in football. Esbo Bollklubb
Esbo Bollklubb (EBK) was founded in 1940 as a football club for the city of Espoo in Finland. In the past the club participated in more sports, but in recent years has specialised in football. EBK's men's team plays in Kolmonen Section 1 of Helsinki and Uusimaa. At its pinnacle the men's team played in the Kakkonen hird levelin the years 1989–91. The women's team played in women's SM-series in 1993 and 1994. EBK caters for a range of age groups for boys and girls teams. The club's greatest competitive success was in the Finnish Cup in 1995. EBK is Espoo's oldest team. Season to season 2020 season For the 2020 season EBK competed in Section 1 (Lohko 1) of the Kolmonen administered by the Uusimaa SPL. Järvenpään Palloseura
Järvenpään Palloseura (abbreviated JäPS) is a football club from Järvenpää, Finland. It was formed in 1947 and is based at the Järvenpää keskuskenttä. The club currently competes in Ykkösliiga, the new second-tier level of Finnish football. Background In six decades JäPS evolved from a small local team into one of Finland's largest football clubs, serving Järvenpää and the surrounding area. JäPS has around 1,000 members, 900 of whom are juniors who participate in the girls and boys teams. In 1978 and 2001 JäPS progressed through to the Kakkonen (Second Division), the third tier of the Finnish football system, but at the end of each season they were relegated back to the Kolmonen (Third Division). Finnish Football League System
The Finnish football league system is a series of interconnected leagues for club football in Finland. The levels two to nine are managed by the Finnish FA. System As of 2025 Cup competitions Clubs at all levels are eligible for the Finnish Cup. Clubs of Kolmonen and below are eligible to compete in the Regions' Cup. Clubs of Vitonen and below are eligible to compete in the Regions' Roots Cup. The Finnish League Cup is a cup competition for top tier clubs played during the winter months before the start of the league season.
