Koki () is a medieval village (''aul'') in the Dzheyrakhsky District of Ingushetia. It is part of the Rural settlement (Russia), rural settlement (administrative center) of Guli. Koki is the ancestral village of Ingush people, Ingush clan (''teip'') Kokurkhoy (). Geography The village is located on a forest clearing 1580 m above sea level on the slope of Mount Cherekhkort, on the left bank of the Guloykhi River, not far from the border with Georgia (country), Georgia. The nearest settlements are: in the northeast — Vovnushki, in the south — Nelkh, in the northwest — Puy, in the valley of the Assa River. Koki, also spelled Coki, is a town in Senegal, the capital of an eponymous arrondissement in the Louga Region. History Koki was founded by the marabout in the Ndiambour province of the Wolof Kingdom of Cayor in the early 18th century. The Damel Maisa Tenda Wej gave him the estate. The site of Diop's Islamic university, it quickly became one of the most important centers of learning in the region as well as a center of anti-royalist political activity. Koki (晃貴) is a Japanese kickboxer, currently signed with K-1, where he is the former Krush Bantamweight champion. Kickboxing career Koki made his professional debut against Shun in September 2015, winning the fight by knockout. He would win his next fight against Tsubasa Hirano as well, by unanimous decision. He suffered his first loss at Krush 72, losing to Akihiro Kaneko by a third-round knockout.
