Knave Of Hearts (Alice's Adventures In Wonderland)
The Knave of Hearts is a character from the 1865 book ''Alice's Adventures in Wonderland'' by Lewis Carroll. ''Alice's Adventures in Wonderland'' The Knave of Hearts is mentioned first in chapter 8, and later in chapters 11 and 12, which deal with his trial for a tart burglary in which the King of Hearts presides as judge. Alice eventually defends the Knave after the evidence becomes increasingly absurd and she is called as a witness. John Tenniel
John Tenniel (; 28 February 182025 February 1914) was an English illustrator, graphic humourist and political cartoonist prominent in the second half of the 19th century. An alumnus of the Royal Academy of Arts in London, he was knight bachelor, knighted for artistic achievements in 1893, the first such honour ever bestowed on an illustrator or cartoonist. The Red Queen is a fictional character and the main antagonist in Lewis Carroll's fantasy 1871 novel '' Through the Looking-Glass''. She is often confused with the Queen of Hearts from the previous book ''Alice's Adventures in Wonderland'' (1865), although the two are very different. Will Scarlet (also Scarlett, Scarlock, Scadlock, Scatheloke, Scathelocke and Shacklock) is a prominent member of Robin Hood's Merry Men.
