Whitney Henderson Westerfield (born November 29, 1980) is an American attorney, politician and a Republican member of the Kentucky Senate who represented district 3 from 2013 to 2025. In 2015, Westerfield was the unsuccessful Republican nominee for Attorney General of Kentucky, losing to Democrat Andy Beshear by a margin of 0.2 percent. Matthew Griswold Bevin (; born January 9, 1967) is an American businessman and politician. A member of the Republican Party, he served as the 62nd governor of Kentucky from 2015 to 2019. He is currently the CEO of Neuronetrix Solutions, LLC. Born in Denver, Colorado, and raised in Shelburne, New Hampshire, Bevin earned a bachelor's degree at Washington and Lee University in 1989.
