Jonelle Filigno (born September 24, 1990) is a Canadian soccer player who last played for Sky Blue FC in the National Women's Soccer League. She played for the Canadian national team, with whom she won an Olympic bronze medal at London 2012. Playing career Clubs Sky Blue FC After finishing her collegiate career at Rutgers University, Filigno was allocated to NWSL side Sky Blue FC. She made her debut on April 27, 2014, as a second-half substitute in a 3–2 road defeat to the Boston Breakers at Harvard Stadium. She scored her first professional goal in a 3–3 draw against the Washington Spirit on May 21, 2014, at Maryland SoccerPlex. The Washington Spirit is an American professional soccer club based in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area that participates in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). It is a continuation of the D.C. United Women of the W-League and continues to field both an amateur WPSL team and a youth team, both under the Spirit name. The 2011 Cyprus Women's Cup was the fourth edition of the Cyprus Women's Cup, an invitational women's football tournament held annually in Cyprus. Format The twelve invited teams were split into three groups that played a round-robin tournament. The main eight entrants were identical to the previous year. Groups A and B, containing the strongest ranked teams, were the only ones in contention to win the title. The group winners from A and B contested the final, with the runners-up playing for third place. Sophie Diana Schmidt (born 28 June 1988) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for National Women's Soccer League club Houston Dash and the Canadian national team, with whom she won an Olympic gold medal in 2020 and bronze in both 2012 and 2016.
