Jeromy Burnitz
Jeromy Neal Burnitz (born April 15, 1969) is an American former professional baseball player. Burnitz was a right fielder in Major League Baseball who played with the New York Mets (1993–94, 2002–03), Cleveland Indians (1995–96), Milwaukee Brewers (1996–2001), Los Angeles Dodgers (2003), Colorado Rockies (2004), Chicago Cubs (2005), and Pittsburgh Pirates (2006). Early days Burnitz played his collegiate ball at Oklahoma State University, and in 1988, played collegiate summer baseball in the Cape Cod Baseball League for the Hyannis Mets. He played minor league ball with the Welsh Waves, the Pittsfield Mets and the Buffalo Bisons. Career Burnitz was drafted in the first round of the 1990 draft by the New York Mets with the 17th overall selection. He made his major league debut in 1993. Jeromy Carriere
Steven Jeromy Carrière is a Canadian computer software engineer. Carrière is a graduate of the University of Waterloo in Canada. He was technical staff member at Carnegie Mellon University's Software Engineering Institute working on practical software architectural reconstruction and analysis. In 1998 Carrière co-founded Pittsburgh-based voice portal infrastructure company Quackware with Steven Woods and Alex Quilici. In 1999 Quackware became Quack.com and moved to Silicon Valley. In September 2000, Quack was acquired for an estimated $200 million by America Online. Carrière left America Online in 2002 to co-found Web 2.0 startup Kinitos (later renamed NeoEdge Networks). In 2003, Jeromy left Kinitos to join Microsoft as a senior architect advisor. Jeromy Farkas
Jeromy Farkas is a Canadian fundraiser, filmmaker, athlete, columnist, and former politician. He was elected to Calgary City Council in the 2017 municipal election to represent Ward 11 for a four-year term. Farkas is the first and only Calgary City Councillor known to have declined the municipal pension and transition allowance. Following his term, the Canadian Taxpayer's Federation estimated that these rejected entitlements saved Calgarian taxpayers $308,234. He ran as a candidate for Calgary mayor in the 2021 municipal election on October 18, 2021, placing second to Jyoti Gondek.
