Mont Kiara
Mont Kiara, often stylized as Mont' Kiara and MK, is an affluent suburb at the northwest of downtown Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in the constituency of Segambut. It consists mainly of high-rise residential condominiums and office complexes which were mostly developed by UEM Sunrise Berhad, a well-known property development arm of UEM Group. It is located in the heart of Klang Valley, halfway between Kepong and downtown Kuala Lumpur. It is adjacent to Sri Hartamas in the south and KL Metropolis in the east, and is heavily populated by Expatriate, expats. While the name "North Kiara" refers to the area near Bukit Segambut as it is located north of Mont Kiara. Segambut is a sub-district and a parliamentary constituency in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. From the high-end condominiums of Mont Kiara and Sri Hartamas to the middle-class areas of Taman Sri Segambut and Bandar Manjalara, and the rural areas of Segambut Dalam and Kampung Sungai Penchala, the Segambut district has a diverse population base. Segambut once belonged to the mukim of Batu Caves before 1974, when Kuala Lumpur was still part of Selangor. Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim
Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim, formerly known as Jalan Duta, is a major highway in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It connects Segambut to the Parliament interchange on the Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 1. It was named after the fifth and fourteenth Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Tuanku Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah of Kedah (reigned 1970–1975 and 2011–2016). History It used to be known as Guilemard Road. The road was constructed in the early 1960s. On 26 November 2014, the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) changed the name of Jalan Duta to Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim. There was public opposition to the renaming, as Jalan Duta was a well-established name and the name change went against the common policy of not naming roads after living public figures, but despite this the government went ahead with the renaming. Duta–Ulu Klang Expressway (DUKE, E33), is the main expressway network in Klang Valley, Malaysia. The expressway connects New Klang Valley Expressway's Jalan Duta Interchange (E1) to Taman Hillview Interchange on Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 28 in Ulu Klang. The expressway was constructed to provide the "missing link" between New Klang Valley Expressway (E1), Kuala Lumpur–Karak Expressway (E8), and Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 (JKR28). This expressway is also known as the Kuala Lumpur Northeast Dispersal Link Scheme. It was proposed by Tan Sri Datuk Lim Kang Hoo, a chairman of Ekovest Berhad. Sungai Buloh Highway or Jalan Sungai Buloh, Federal Route 54, is a major highway in Klang Valley region, Selangor state, Malaysia. The highway has now been upgraded into six-lane carriageway on 22 June 2007. History The highway was upgraded by the Malaysian Public Works Department (JKR) and the two main contractor, Melati Ehsan Holdings Berhad and Desa Purnama Sdn Bhd on 22 June 2007. The project involved upgrading and expanding the Federal Road 54, this connects to Jalan Kepong, Damansara–Puchong Expressway and to various residential areas at Sungai Buloh, Selangor such as Sierramas, Damansara Damai, and Bandar Sri Damansara.
