Jānis Skredelis' Stadium
Jānis Skredelis Stadium (, formerly Sporta komplekss "Arkādija") is a multi-use stadium in Riga, Latvia. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium capacity is 432 people. Tenants It is currently the home ground of the Latvia women's national football team and the Latvian Third League team of the Riga Football School (Rīgas FS). From 2016 to 2022 it used to be the home stadium of FK RFS. History Until it was called the Arkādija Sports Complex after the adjacent Arkādija Park. On this day it was renamed to honor Latvian football manager and sports executive Jānis Skredelis Jānis Skredelis (29 December 1939 – 27 June 2019) was a Latvian football coach. Torņakalns
Torņakalns is a neighbourhood of Riga, Latvia located on the western bank of the Daugava River (neighbourhoods along this shore are collectively known as Pārdaugava). The name Torņakalns ('' English: Tower Hill'') derives from a fortified tower built in the Middle Ages close to the Daugava River to alarm the city of Riga in case of emergency and intruders about to cross the river. Latvia Women's National Football Team
The Latvia women's national football team (Latvian: Latvijas sieviešu futbola izlase) represents Latvia in international football and is controlled by the Latvian Football Federation, the governing body for football in Latvia. They have never qualified for the major tournament. Founded in 2005, the club has worn a blue home kit and a white away kit since its inception.
