Jüri Ratas's First Cabinet
Jüri Ratas's cabinet was the 49th cabinet of Estonia, in office from 23 November 2016 to 29 April 2019. It was a centre-left coalition cabinet of Centre Party, Social Democratic Party and conservative Pro Patria and Res Publica Union. It was preceded by the Second Cabinet of Taavi Rõivas, a cabinet that ended when Social Democrats and the Union of Pro Patria and Res Publica joined the opposition's no confidence vote against the cabinet. This was the first time since 1999 the liberal centre-right Reform Party were out of the government. Jaak Aab
Jaak Aab (; born 9 April 1960) is an Estonian politician who has served as Minister of Education and Research and three times as the Minister of Public Administration from 2017 to 2018, from 2019 to 2020 and from 2011 to 2022 and as the Minister of Social Affairs from 2005 to 2007. Toomas Tõniste
Toomas Tõniste (born 26 April 1967) is an Estonian sailor and politician, and the former Minister of Finance. Career in sports Tõniste competed in four consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 1988. Sven Sester (born 14 July 1969) is an Estonian politician and former Minister of Finance. Early life Sester was born on 14 July 1969 in Tallinn, Estonia. After graduating from high school in 1987, he studied Economics and Information Technology at the Tallinn University of Technology. Political career In 1999, Sester joined Pro Patria and Res Publica Union. From 2002 to 2003, he was deputy chairman of the financial committee in Tallinn city council. From 2003 to 2007, as a member of Riigikogu he was deputy chairman of the economic affairs committee.
