Benito Pablo Juárez García (; 21 March 1806 – 18 July 1872) was a Mexican politician, military commander, and lawyer who served as the 26th president of Mexico from 1858 until his death in office in 1872. Ricardo Juárez (born April 15, 1980) is an American former professional boxer. He is a former WBC Silver featherweight champion and a multiple-time world title challenger. Juarez was known over his career for his aggressive fighting style and incredible durability. Amateur career Juarez had a lustrous amateur career with a 145–17 record, which included a 68 fight winning streak, a Featherweight Olympic silver medal and a Junior Olympic World and National gold medal. Juarez Teixeira (born 20 September 1928) is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a forward. Career A center forward highlighted by his enormous physical strength, Juarez had a successful career, being state champion in Santa Catarina for Olímpico de Blumenau and Caxias de Joinville, in addition to a victory in Paraná for CA Ferroviário. In 1955 he arrived at Grêmio where he made history, with 306 appearances and 204 goals, being the team's top scorer in the late 1950s.
