Julio Enrique Martínez Rivera (born 8 July 1985) is a retired Salvadoran footballer who last played for Águila and internationally for the El Salvador national team. Club career León On 15 June 2009, Martínez was one of three Salvadoran footballers signed to the Mexican club Club León on a loan deal from Alianza; the other two were Rodolfo Zelaya and Cristian Castillo. On 3 December 2009, it was announced that Club León had permanently signed Martínez along with the other two Salvadorans to a three-year contract. However, shortly afterwards, it was announced that Martínez along with the other two Salvadorans would no longer be part of the team for the moment. It was explained that the three foreign player spots allowed for the club had already been taken by other new signings. Julio Martínez Cortés (born 2 November 2000) is a Spanish footballer who plays as a forward for UCAM Murcia. Club career Born in Requena, Valencian Community, Martínez joined Málaga CF's youth setup in 2018, after stints at Córdoba CF and Valencia CF. He made his senior debut with the reserves on 25 August 2019, starting and scoring the opener in a 4–0 Tercera División home routing of Alhaurín de la Torre CF. Julio Martínez Prádanos (Temuco, Chile, June 23, 1923 – Santiago, Chile, January 2, 2008) was a Chilean sports commentator specializing in football who had a long career in the written press, radio and television. He won the 1995 National Prize for Journalism, awarded by the Chilean Ministry of Education. He belongs to a generation of ever-lasting emblematic Chilean sports commentators, along with Sergio Livingstone, Pedro Carcuro, Alberto Fouillioux, Néstor Isella and Milton Millas. Martínez died of terminal prostate cancer on January 2, 2008, after years of failing health. Julio César Martínez (born 23 March 1962) is an Argentine politician of the Radical Civic Union (UCR). Among other posts, he served as a National Senator for La Rioja from 2017 to 2023, as Minister of Defense under President Mauricio Macri (2015–2017), as a National Deputy (2009–2015), and as a member of the Legislature of La Rioja (1999–2003). Early life Martínez was born on 23 March 1962 in Chilecito, La Rioja Province. He studied agricultural engineering at the National University of Córdoba, graduating with a licenciatura in 1986. Julio Martinez Acosta (August 17, 1879 - February 17, 1957) was an Ecuadorian Lieutenant and politician. He served as the youngest military leader under Ecuador President, Eloy Alfaro. Background Lieutenant Colonel Don Julio Martinez Acosta was born in Huaca, Carchi Province in Ecuador, on August 17, 1879.
