Juan Contino Aslán
Juan Contino Aslán (October 12, 1960 in Havana, Cuba) was the city mayor of Havana, Cuba from 2003 until being discharged in February, 2011. He was the President of the People's Power Provincial Assembly of the City of Havana (mayor), a member of the Central Committee of the Cuban Communist Party, a ''diputado'' to the National Assembly, and a member of the Council of State, - ORGANOS DE GOBIERNOS PROVINCIALES a potential candidate for the Politburo. Cuban Communist Party
The Communist Party of Cuba (, PCC) is the One-party state, sole ruling party of Cuba. The Council of State () of Cuba is a 31-member body of the government of Cuba, elected by the National Assembly of People's Power. It has the authority to exercise most legislative power between sessions of the National Assembly of People's Power, subject to its approval, and to call the National Assembly of People's Power into session between its scheduled twice yearly sessions.
