José Herrera (football Manager)
José Manuel Pérez Herrera (born 4 October 1978) is a Spanish football manager, currently in charge of Atlético Sanluqueño CF. Career Herrera was born in Jerez de la Frontera, Cádiz, Andalusia, and played for hometown side Xerez CD as a youth before retiring. He began his managerial career with SD Mundo Nuevo at the age of 23, and went on to work at CF Rapid Ibiza, Nueva Jarilla AD and Liberación CF before joining Atlético Sanluqueño CF in 2011, as a manager of the ''Cadete'' squad. Herrera was subsequently in charge of the ''Juvenil'' and B teams of Sanluqueño before being appointed manager of the first team in Tercera División on 31 December 2014, after Puma resigned. On 2 July 2016, after leading the side to a promotion to Segunda División B, he opted to leave the club, and took over Arcos CF in the fourth division two days later. The Primera Federación, officially the Primera Federación Versus e-Learning for sponsorship reasons (formerly known as Primera RFEF). is the third tier of the Spanish football league system beginning with the 2021–22 season. 2024–25 Primera Federación
The 2024–25 Primera Federación, also known as Primera Federación Versus e-Learning due to sponsorship reasons, is the fourth for the Primera Federación, the third-highest level in the Spanish football league system. Forty teams will participate, divided into two groups of twenty clubs each based on geographical proximity. In each group, the champions are automatically promoted to Segunda División and the second to fifth placers will play promotion play-offs and the bottom five are relegated to the Segunda Federación. Overview before the season A total of 40 teams joined the league, including four relegated from the 2023–24 Segunda División, 26 retained from the 2023–24 Primera Federación, and ten promoted from the 2023–24 Segunda Federación.
