José Contreras
José Ariel Contreras Camejo (born December 6, 1971) is a Cubans, Cuban former professional baseball pitcher, who played in the Cuban National Series (CNS), Major League Baseball (MLB), and internationally for the Cuban national baseball team. He also played in the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL) for the CTBC Brothers, Chinatrust Brothers. Contreras played for Pinar del Río Vegueros of the CNS, and competed for the Cuban national team in the Summer Olympics, the Pan American Games, the Baseball World Cup, and the 1999 Baltimore Orioles – Cuban national baseball team exhibition series, 1999 exhibition series against the Baltimore Orioles. José Castellanos Contreras
José Arturo Castellanos Contreras (23 December 1893 — 18 June 1977) was a Salvadoran Army colonel and diplomat who, while working as El Salvador's Consul General for Geneva during World War II, and in conjunction with Jewish-Romanian businessman György Mandl, helped save up to 40,000 Central European Jews, most of them from Hungary, from Nazi persecution by providing them with fake Salvadoran citizenship certificates. Public life and achievements Castellanos was born in the provincial city of San Vicente to General Adelino Castellanos and Isabel Contreras de Castellanos. Beginning in 1911, when he entered the Military Polytechnic School, Castellanos would spend over 25 active years in the Salvadoran military, eventually achieving the rank of Second Chief of the General Staff of the Army of the Republic. José Alirio Contreras Vásquez (born March 21, 1978) is a retired Venezuelan professional racing cyclist. A mountain specialist, he led the 2010 Vuelta al Táchira for much of the race. Contreras raced with the Lotería del Táchira team for most of his professional career. After the 2015 Vuelta al Tachira, Contreras signed with a new cycling team, sponsored by the Government of Mérida – Fundarujano. Contreras recorded his last professional race two months later in April 2015, when he did not finish stage six of the Vuelta Mexico. José Manuel Contreras (born 19 January 1986), nicknamed El Moyo, is a Guatemalan professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for and captains Liga Nacional club Comunicaciones. Contreras has also played for clubs Arsenal de Sarandí in Argentina and C.D. Universidad de Concepción in Chile, among other clubs, and it’s known to be the promise of Guatemala football.
