Haobam Paban Kumar
Haobam Paban Kumar is an Indian filmmaker from state of Manipur. Kumar's films and documentaries have been screened in several places across the globe. Kumar's debut feature film '' Loktak Lairembee'' (Lady of the Lake) won the National Film Award for Best Film on Environment Conservation/Preservation at the 64th National Film Awards 2017. He also won German Star of India at the 14th Indian Film Festival in Stuttgart, Germany for the film in 2017. International Film Festival Of Kerala
The International Film Festival of Kerala (abbreviated as IFFK) is a film festival held annually in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala, India. This film festival started in 1996 and is hosted by the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy on behalf of Department of Cultural Affairs (Kerala), Department of Cultural Affairs, Government of Kerala. The festival is held in November or December every year and is acknowledged as one of the leading cultural events in India. 29th Kolkata International Film Festival
The 29th Kolkata International Film Festival began on 5 December 2023 at Netaji Indoor Stadium, in Kolkata, India. A 1963 romantic comedy Bengali film ''Deya Neya'' by Sunil Bannerjee opened the festival, which screened 219 films from 39 countries. Spain and Australia were country of focus in this edition of the festival. The 1st North East India Film Festival, Manipur took place from 3 to 7 March, 2024 at Imphal, Manipur. The festival had screened 14 films from North East India at two venues, Manipur State Film Development Society (MSFDS) and Tanthapolis Cinema, Lamphel.
