Mar Jose Porunnedom (born 13 March 1956) is a Syro-Malabar Catholic bishop who currently serves as the bishop of Manathavady Diocese. He is the third bishop of Manathavady Diocese. Jose Baxter (born 7 February 1992) is an English former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. Jose ben Aqabya ( Heb. Yose ben Aqabya or Yose ben Yakov; Aram. Issi bar Akiba) was a rabbi and Tanna whose career spanned the early third century CE. The name "Issi" or "Assa" is derived from "Jose," and was borne by many tannaim and amoraim; hence the confusion that prevails in the Talmud concerning the identity of each of them, the same halakhic or aggadic saying being attributed sometimes to one and sometimes to another of that name. Thus the prohibition against riding on a mule is reported in the Yerushalmi in the name of ''Issi ben Aqabya'', while in the ToseftaKil'ayim v. 6. it is attributed to Issi ha-Babli, who is undoubtedly identical with Issi ben Judah. Bacher supposes that Issi ben Aqabya was the brother of Hananiah ben Aqabya, the interpreter ("meturgeman") of Judah ha-Nasi. Joseph Glover, typically referred to as Jose or Josse, (died late 1638) was an English nonconformist minister, noted for being a pioneer of printing in the English colonies of North America and one of the people instrumental in establishing Harvard College. Glover was Rector of Sutton, then in the county of Surrey, from 1628 to 1636. He married for the second time in around 1630, marrying Elizabeth Harris, the daughter of Reverend Nathaniel Harris, Rector of Bletchingley in Surrey. Glover visited New England in around 1634 and garnered support for what would become Harvard College. He managed to purchase a printing press and equipment from securing funds in both England and Holland and signed an agreement with blacksmiths Stephen and Matthew Daye and three workers on 7 June 1638 in Cambridge to ship the equipment to America aboard the '' John of London'' ship and later operate it. Jose Kusugak (2 May 1950 – 18 or 19 January 2011) was an Inuk politician from Repulse Bay, Northwest Territories (now Naujaat, Nunavut), Canada. He was an activist for Inuit rights, language and culture. Early life Kusugak was born in Repulse Bay. He moved, along with his family, to Rankin Inlet in 1960. After attending school in Chesterfield Inlet and Churchill Vocational Institute residential school in Churchill, Manitoba, he went to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to attend high school.
