José Luis Calderón
José Luis Calderón (born 24 October 1970) is an Argentine former professional footballer who played as a striker. He played for 17 years between 1989 and 2006 without winning a trophy, but between the ages of 36 and 39 he won four major championships with three teams. Nicknamed ''Caldera'', he is remembered for a 48-metre goal he scored against Boca Juniors in 1999 and for his hat-trick against Estudiantes' derby rivals Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata on 15 October 2006. He retired in 2010, at almost 40 years of age. Club career After a promising spell in the youth system of Defensores de Cambaceres, he was transferred to Estudiantes de La Plata, the team he supported as a child, in 1992. His scoring helped the team return from relegation in 1994. Later, he played for Independiente for a year and Italian side S.S.C. Napoli during the 1997–98 season. José Luis Calderón Cabrera
José Luis Calderón Cabrera (born Mexico City, November 6, 1924 – Mexico City, June 7, 2004) was a Mexican architect. He was professor at the Universidad Anáhuac campus del Norte and at the Escuela Nacional de Arquitectura of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. On his early years he worked together with his brother Bernardo, mostly restoring churches and monuments. After the brothers split, Calderón continued his work until the 1980s, when he became a restoration project manager himself. After the 1985 earthquake in Mexico City, Calderon became a member of the professional group that assessed the remaining buildings' structural conditions. In 2004, he was awarded the Medal of Academic Merits by the Universidad Anáhuac. José Calderón (basketball)
José Manuel Calderón Borrallo (; born September 28, 1981) is a Spanish basketball executive and former player who is a special advisor for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played professionally for 21 years including 14 seasons in the NBA, primarily with the Toronto Raptors with whom he set an NBA record for the highest free throw percentage in a season (98.1% in 2008-09). With the Spain national team, he won a FIBA World Cup title in 2006, two Olympic silver medals in 2008 and 2012, as well as a bronze medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He also won a EuroBasket title in 2011, two silver medals in 2003 and 2007 as well as a bronze in 2013. Calderón earned an All-EuroBasket Team selection in 2007.
