Jim Adduci (baseball, Born 1985)
James Charles Adduci (born May 15, 1985) is a Canadian–born American former professional baseball outfielder and first baseman. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Texas Rangers (baseball), Texas Rangers, Detroit Tigers, and Chicago Cubs, and in the KBO League for the Lotte Giants. He has also served as a coach (baseball), coach for the Cubs. Early life Adduci was the only son born to Major League Baseball player Jim Adduci (baseball, born 1959), Jim Adduci in British Columbia when the latter was playing in the Milwaukee Brewers farm system for the Vancouver Canadians (PCL), Vancouver Canadians. Round Rock Express
The Round Rock Express are a Minor League Baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL) and the Triple-A (baseball), Triple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers (baseball), Texas Rangers. They are located in Round Rock, Texas, and play their home games at the Dell Diamond. The team is named for National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, Baseball Hall of Famer and Texas native Nolan Ryan, who was nicknamed "The Ryan Express." The Northern Illinois Huskies baseball team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of Northern Illinois University (NIU) in DeKalb, Illinois, United States. The team is a member of the Mid-American Conference (MAC), which is part of the NCAA Division I. NIU's first baseball team was fielded in 1900. Evergreen Park Community High School, is a public high school located in Evergreen Park, Illinois southwest of Chicago. The high school has about 950 students in grades 9–12. Students originate from the Evergreen Park Elementary School District 124. History The school's first superintendent, Marshall G. Batho, announced the opening of Evergreen Park Community High School (EPCHS) on September 6, 1955. Evergreen Park, Illinois
Evergreen Park is a village in Cook County, Illinois, United States. In 2020, the population was 19,943. The village shares a border with Chicago on the north, east, and south sides; while also sharing a border with Oak Lawn on the west side. History As early as 1828, a German farming family had settled in the area of what is now Evergreen Park. In the succeeding decades, other German immigrants arrived. Kedzie Avenue and 95th Street crisscrossed the farmland and provided access to markets. The first railroad (now the Grand Trunk Railroad) came through the area in 1873. The Vancouver Canadians were a Minor League Baseball team of the Triple-A Pacific Coast League from 1978 to 1999.
