Jelle Van Dael
Lasgo is a Belgian electronic music group. The group formed in 2000 and was composed of Peter Luts, Dave McCullen, and singer Evi Goffin. Peter Luts confirmed on Belgian radio in 2008 that Goffin was not returning to the group, after choosing to become a full-time mother. Luts announced around the same time that he was looking for a new vocalist for the group. Together with Belgian TV station JIMtv, he organized a televised search (in similar fashion to talent shows like '' Idol'') for a new vocalist, eventually choosing Jelle Van Dael as the singer. The group name came from McCullen suggesting something related to the United Kingdom, and creating Lasgo out of Glasgow in Scotland. Throughout their career, Lasgo have sold more than five million units of their albums ''Some Things'' and '' Far Away'', and the singles from those albums. "Something" is the debut single of Belgian music group Lasgo. It was first released on 15 June 2001 as the lead single from their debut album, ''Some Things'' (2001). It became a hit in the band's native Belgium, peaking at 5 in the Flanders region, and reached the top 10 in several European countries. In February 2002, it was released in the United Kingdom, reaching No. 4 on the UK Singles Chart. It also peaked within the top 40 in the United States. In 2013, the song was re-released with new additional vocals from British pop singer Taylor Jones. Willebroek
Willebroek (, old spelling: ''Willebroeck'', also ) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality comprises the towns of , Heindonk, , Klein Willebroek, and Willebroek proper. In 2021, Willebroek had a total population of 27,081. The total area is 27.41 km2. It ran from 1978 to 2006, and, after initially appearing monthly, was issued fortnightly during most of that time. The Official Albums Chart is the United Kingdom's industry-recognised national record chart for album, albums. Entries are ranked by sales and audio streaming. Ian Van Dahl is a Belgian vocal trance and Eurodance music project created by Christophe Chantzis and Erik Vanspauwen, with first singer Martine Theeuwen (aka Marsha), who also co-wrote and sang the song " Castles in the Sky". Cindy Mertens was the second singer and can be seen in the music video for "Castles in the Sky"; her vocal contribution was limited to live performances only. In 2001, she was replaced by Annemie Coenen, who would become front singer of the project. History The project's first single was " Castles in the Sky", with lyrics co-written and vocals performed by Martine Theeuwen. The single never became a major hit in Belgium but did very well in the European clubscene. Delerium is a Canadian new-age ambient electronic musical duo that formed in 1987, originally as a side project of the influential industrial music act Front Line Assembly.
