Jari Pyykölä
Jari Pyykölä (born 29 February 1956) is a Finnish football manager. He is currently the Coaching Director of Finnish third-tier club Tervarit. Pyykölä has managed FC Jazz, FC Lahti, KuPS and VPS in the Finnish premier division Veikkausliiga. He was the head coach of Swedish club IF Brommapojkarna from 1998 to 1999. In 1998 the club was promoted to Superettan. Pyykölä won the 1996 Finnish Championship title with FC Jazz. Ten months later he was replaced by Jukka Vakkila, just couple of days before the first leg of 1997–98 UEFA Champions League second qualifying round against Feyenoord. (in Finnish). Jukka Keijo Olavi Vakkila (2 April 1951, Joutseno) is a Finnish football manager. He coached FC Haka in 1982–1984, 1986–1987, 1993–1996 and FC Jazz Football Club Jazz, commonly known as just Jazz, is a Finnish Association football, football club based in Pori, which plays in the Finnish third tier, Ykkönen. Veikkausliiga Managers
Veikkausliiga () is a professional association football league in Finland and the highest level of the Finnish football league system. The league comprises the top 12 clubs of the country. Its main sponsor is the Finnish national betting agency Veikkaus, hence the league's name. Veikkausliiga was founded in 1990; before that the top division was called ''Mestaruussarja'' (championship series) since 1930 which was an amateur or semi-professional league. Between 1908 and 1930 the championship was decided as a knock-out cup competition. Structure During the 1990 and 1991 seasons the Veikkausliiga was played under the name "Futisliiga" (). As with certain other cold-climate European countries, league matches in Finland are played in summer, with a schedule usually from April to October.
