JVee Casio
Joseph Evans "JVee" D. Casio (born September 1, 1986) is a Filipino basketball player for the Blackwater Bossing of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He was drafted first overall by the Powerade Tigers in 2011 PBA draft. Early life Casio started playing basketball at the age of seven. He started by watching his brother play at their village and started his formal training during his stay at San Beda College, where was part of the San Beda Red Lions, San Beda Red Cubs squad in the NCAA Juniors Division. He helped the team sweep the eliminations of the 78th season of the NCAA. They faced the Letran Squires for the finals and won the 2002 NCAA juniors basketball championship, in which he was named the finals MVP. Point Guard
The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the Basketball positions, five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position and is usually the shortest player on the court. Point guards are expected to control the pace of the game. They effectively "run" the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. UAAP Season 71 was the 2008–2009 season of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. The University of the Philippines (UP) hosted this season, which coincided with the centennial anniversary of the University's establishment. It opened on July 5, 2008 with an elaborate ceremony held at the Araneta Coliseum. Cholo Villanueva
Pocholo "Cholo" Iñigo Villanueva (born November 24, 1982) is a Filipino former professional basketball player. He currently serves as the head coach for the Tanduay Rum Masters. He previously served as the assistant coach for the Bay Area Dragons. He was drafted with the thirteenth overall pick of the 2008 PBA draft by the Air21 Express. From 2001 to 2007, he played for the De La Salle Green Archers in the UAAP where he won a championship in 2007 and was named co-Finals MVP with JVee Casio. The Ateneo Blue Eagles are the collegiate varsity teams of the Ateneo de Manila University that play in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), the premiere collegiate league in the Philippines. The 2011 Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Philippine Basketball Association draft, rookie draft was an event at which teams drafted players from the amateur ranks. The event was held at Robinson's Place Ermita in Manila on August 28, 2011. Players who applied for the draft underwent a rookie camp that lasted a week.
