Imagination
Imagination is the production or simulation of novel objects, sensations, and ideas in the mind without any immediate input of the senses. Stefan Szczelkun characterises it as the forming of experiences in one's mind, which can be re-creations of past experiences, such as vivid memories with imagined changes, or completely invented and possibly fantastic scenes. Imagination helps make knowledge applicable in solving problems and is fundamental to integrating experience and the learning process.Norman 2000 pp. 1-2Brian Sutton-Smith 1988, p. 22 Kieran Egan 1992, pp. 50 As an approach to build theory, it is called "disciplined imagination". A basic training for imagination is listening to storytelling (narrative), in which the exactness of the chosen words is the fundamental factor to "evoke worlds". Imagination (Brian Wilson Album)
''Imagination'' is the third solo album by American musician Brian Wilson. It was issued in 1998 on Giant Records and distributed by Warner Music Group. The album received mixed reviews upon its release and its commercial performance was relatively weak. Its best-known track is " Your Imagination", a Top 20 hit on adult contemporary radio. The second single, "South American", was co-written by Jimmy Buffett. Wilson dedicated the song "Lay Down Burden" to his brother Carl Wilson, who succumbed to cancer earlier in the year. Joe Thomas worked with Wilson as the album's co-producer. He was held responsible by critics for the album's style and production. Shortly after its release, Wilson filed a suit against Thomas, seeking damages and a declaration which freed him to work on his next album without involvement from Thomas. They later reunited for the albums '' That's Why God Made the Radio'' (2012) and ''No Pier Pressure'' (2015). Background The album's recording sessions were im ...

Imagination (Helen Reddy Album)
''Imagination'' is the fourteenth studio album by Australian-American pop singer Helen Reddy and was released in February 1983 as her second LP for MCA Records. As with the first of the two, 1981's '' Play Me Out'', it did not reach ''Billboard'' magazine's Top LP's & Tapes chart.. MCA ended their contract with her afterward; in her 2006 autobiography, ''The Woman I Am: A Memoir'', Reddy wrote, "I was not surprised when I received a form letter from CAs legal department telling me that I'd been dropped from the label.". History The path from the planning stages for the album to its appearance on store shelves was not a smooth one. A story on Reddy from the September 19, 1981, issue of ''Billboard'' detailed some of what she had in mind for this second MCA project: "'I'll work on my next album around the end of the year or in January or February so it'll be ready for an Easter 982release,'" she told the magazine, but it didn't come out until 1983. She also told them that " J ...
