''Dune'' is an American science fiction media franchise that originated with the 1965 novel ''Dune'' by Frank Herbert and has continued to add new publications. ''Dune'' is a strategy board game set in Frank Herbert's ''Dune'' universe designed by Bill Eberle, Jack Kittredge and Peter Olotka, and originally published by Avalon Hill in 1979. The music for the 2021 American film '' Dune'' was composed and arranged by Hans Zimmer.
