Andrés Alonso García (born 26 April 1961), known as Ito, is a Spanish former football player, footballer who played as a right winger. He played 114 La Liga games and scored 11 goals, representing UD Salamanca, Salamanca, Real Madrid, Real Valladolid and Real Betis. He won the Copa del Rey with Real Madrid in 1982 Copa del Rey final, 1982. Club career Salamanca Born in Salamanca, Ito began his career at his hometown club UD Salamanca. He made his first-team debut on 17 October 1979 in the second leg of the first round of the Copa del Rey, at home to CD Benavente, Benavente; he was Substitute (association football), substituted at half time in a 3–0 win. The following 6 April he made his one appearance of the La Liga season, as a late replacement in a 2–1 win over Hércules CF, Hércules also at the Helmántico Stadium. Substitute (association Football)
In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. Prior to this most games were played with no changes permitted at all, with occasional exceptions in cases of extreme injury or players not arriving to matches on time. Tatabányai Sport Club is a Hungarian football club based in Tatabánya, Komárom-Esztergom, Hungary.
