It's a Wonderful Life () is a Singaporean Chinese New Year 2013 drama. It was telecast on Singapore's free-to-air channel, MediaCorp Channel 8. It stars Ha Yu, Lin Meijiao, Chen Liping, Huang Wenyong, Elvin Ng, Julie Tan and Paige Chua as the cast of the series. It made its debut on 21 January 2013 and consists of 20 episodes and was screened every weekday night at 9:00 pm. It was also Huang Wenyong's final drama. Overview The plot revolves around Li and Hao families and several couples and deals with family and getting along with in-laws. Cast Production Filming started on 23 Jul 2012 and is expected to end on 31 Oct 2012 possibly due to '' Beyonds early filming. Desmond Tan (born 19 August 1986) is a Singaporean actor. He won the Star Awards for Best Actor for his role in '' When Duty Calls'' in 2018. Huang Wen Yong
Huang Wenyong (25 July 1952 – 20 April 2013) was a Malaysia-born Singaporean actor, host and teacher. Huang died at the Singapore General Hospital at around 5 pm (GMT+8) on 20 April 2013, at the age of 60 due to lymphoma. Early life and career Huang was a teacher in Kuala Lumpur before leaving for Singapore. Huang moved to Singapore in the 1970s, with only fifty dollars in hand. He joined the Singapore Broadcasting Corporation in 1981. Star Awards 20 (also SA20, Chinese: 红星大奖 20) was a double television award ceremony which was held in Singapore. It is part of the annual Star Awards organised by Mediacorp for the two free-to-air channels, Mediacorp Channels 8 and U. The twentieth installment of ''Star Awards'' was broadcast live on Channel 8, on 20 and 27 April 2014. The first ceremony was held at the Mediacorp TV Theatre while the second ceremony was held at Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre. These ceremonies were also broadcast on 8 International and the second ceremony on Toggle, Astro AEC (SD) and Astro Quan Jia HD (HD). Quan Yi Fong (born 1 March 1974) is a Taiwan-born Singaporean host and actress, who has since taken up Singaporean citizenship and given up her Taiwanese citizenship. Guo Liang (born 11 November 1968) is a Chinese nationality law, Chinese-born Singaporeans, Singaporean actor, television host and radio deejay. Career Guo graduated from the Shanghai Drama Institute and moved to Singapore during the 1990s to join the Television Corporation of Singapore (predecessor of Mediacorp, MediaCorp).
