Israel have hosted the FIBA Women's EuroBasket in 1991, and will host it again in 2023 along with Slovenia, they have automatically qualified as co-host. The 2019 FIBA 3x3 World Cup was held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The tournament consisted of 20 teams. Italy were the defending champions but were defeated in the Quarterfinals by France. The women's tournament of the 2018 FIBA 3x3 World Cup hosted in Bocaue, Philippines, was contested by 20 teams. Participating teams All FIBA continental zones except for FIBA Oceania are represented by at least one team. The top 20 teams, including the hosts, based on the FIBA National Federation ranking qualified for the tournament. FIBA announced the composition of the pools on April 10, 2018. There was no draw made and the teams were seeded based on their FIBA National Federation rankings as of the April 1, 2018 cut-off date. The top one, two, three, and four teams were placed at the top of Pools A, B, C, and D respectively. The next four teams are placed in reversed order with the top five team placed as the second team of Pool D and the top eight team designated as the second team of Pool A. FIBA 3x3 World Cup
The FIBA 3x3 World Cup is a 3x3 basketball tournament for national teams organized by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA). The debut of the tournament then named as the FIBA 3x3 World Championship was held in August 2012 in Athens, Greece. The current champions are Serbia in the men's division and France in the women's division. There are two events in the tournament; one for men and another for women. In the first edition, there was a mixed event where each team was composed of 2 men and 2 women. 2012 FIBA 3x3 World Championships
The 2012 FIBA 3x3 World Championships, hosted by Greece, was the first edition of the FIBA 3x3 World Championships, an international 3x3 basketball event that featured separate competitions for men's, women's and mixed national teams. The tournament ran from 23 August to 26 August 2012, held in front of the Zappeion. It was co-organized by the FIBA. Serbia won the men's title after defeating France 16–13 in the men's final. The US won the women's title after defeating France in the final, while France defeated Argentina for the mixed team final.
