Isön is a small island in lake Storsjön, Jämtland, Sweden. The island is very sparsely populated and is a part of Andersön's nature reserve. In the winter, an ice road connects Isön to the nearby larger island of Norderön. International Scientific Optical Network
The International Scientific Optical Network or ISON () is an international project, currently consisting of about 30 telescopes at about 20 observatories in about ten countries (Russia, Ukraine (Andrushivka), Georgia (Abastumani), Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Moldova, Spain ( Teide), Switzerland (Zimmerwald), Bolivia (Tarija), USA (Mayhill), Italy (Collepardo)) which have organized to detect, monitor and track objects in space. Other observatories include the "ISON-Kislovodsk Observatory", located near Kislovodsk, North Caucasus, Russia, with the observatory code D00. ISON is managed by the Keldysh Institute of Applied Mathematics, part of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It was credited for the discovery of comets C/2010 X1 (Elenin), , and C/2012 S1 (ISON), the latter popularly known as Comet ISON. The minor planet 365756 ISON is named for the network. ''ISON'' is the debut studio album by Iranian-Dutch singer Sevdaliza. It was released on 26 April 2017 by Twisted Elegance. The album is named after Comet ISON, a sungrazing comet. It includes two songs from Sevdaliza's second extended play, ''Children of Silk'' (2015), "Amandine Insensible" and "Marilyn Monroe", the latter of which was released as the album's fourth single on 14 April 2017. "Human" was released as the lead single on 17 November 2016, which was followed by "Hero" as the second single on 4 April 2017 and "Hubris" as the third single on 12 April. Ison (rapper)
Ison and Fille more commonly Ison & Fille is a Swedish hip hop duo consisting of Ison Glasgow ("Ison") and Felipe Leiva Wenger ("Fille"). The two met in 1994 in JKS basketball club in Bredäng, Sweden. Their initial songs were included in a 2000 compilation album ''Den svenska underjorden'' (meaning the Swedish underground). Media attention on the duo came with ZTV, a Swedish television channel putting out Ison & Fille 2006 release "När vi glider". The duo have cooperated with various artists like Swedish rapper Petter, Dekan Ahmed and the rap crew Highwon. Members *Ison Glasgow ("Ison"), born , is a US-born rapper, but grew up in Bredäng. Wayne Ison
Wayne Ison (June 28, 1924 – August 9, 2014) was an aircraft designer whose designs include the Airbike, Mini-MAX, Hi-MAX and PDQ-2. He first worked for the Ford Motor Company, then received a draft notice following the U.S. entry into the Second World War. He served as a Douglas C-47 Skytrain radio operator during World War II. He, along with others, formed the Tennessee Engineering And Manufacturing incorporated, known as TEAM Incorporated, to market his Mini-MAX design. Following a lawsuit, TEAM was dissolved with the transfer of the Mini-MAX and Airbike designs to ISON Aircraft.
