The Iran women's national futsal team represents Iran in international women's futsal, and is controlled by the Iran Football Federation. Iran clinched the title for the first and second AFC Women's Futsal Championship in 2015 and 2018 respectively. Nilai is a city located in the Seremban District of the state of Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, located close to the border with Selangor. AFC Women's Futsal Championship
The AFC Women's Futsal Asian Cup (previously the AFC Women's Futsal Championship before 2021), is the quadrennial premier national women's futsal competition of the Asian Football Confederation nations. 2001 Women's Islamic Games
The third edition of the Women's Islamic Games took place in Tehran and Rasht, Iran from 2 to 8 November 2001. A total of 23 countries, 84 teams, and 795 athletes competed at the Games, which featured fifteen separate sports. The competition was due to feature 34 countries but due to the September 11 attacks in the United States, and the War in Afghanistan, the original number was reduced, as was the number of international observers.
