Iran Experts Initiative
The Iran Experts Initiative (IEI) was a project Iranian Foreign Ministry officials initiated in 2014. According to reports in Semafor and Iran International, based on purportedleaked emails, the initiative was used to "promote Tehran's arguments in the west". Members of the Iran Experts Initiative worked as academics and researchers for think tanks in the West, and gave advice to Europe and the U.S. According to a report by Iran International, the project consisted of "an influence network formed and guided by Tehran". Leaked emails In September 2023, the London-based Persian-language news television channel Iran International and the news website Semafor obtained leaked foreign ministry emails in which Iranian government officials claimed credit for assembling a network of Western scholars called the Iran Experts Initiative. Iranian Foreign Ministry
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs () is an Iranian government ministry headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, who is a member of cabinet. The office is currently held by Abbas Araghchi after the death of Hossein Amir-Abdollahian. ''Semafor'' is a news website founded in 2022 by Ben Smith, a former editor-in-chief of BuzzFeed News and media columnist at ''The New York Times,'' and Justin B. Smith, the former CEO of Bloomberg Media Group. Description and etymology '' Vox'' has described Semafor as "a collection of newsletters, plus a website, aimed at an upscale audience that understands topics like Washington politics and Silicon Valley tech but wants more". The website is free to access and supported by advertisements, though ''Semafor's'' co-founders have described plans to convert to a paid subscription model. Iran International () is a Persian-language satellite television channel and multilingual digital news operation established in May 2017 and headquartered in London aimed at Iranians and people interested in Iranian news, culture, society and sports. In February 2023, threats from the Iranian government against its UK-based journalists led the network to move headquarters temporarily to Washington, D.C. News content is available online, via radio and via satellite broadcasting worldwide including inside Iran despite official attempts at censorship. The Pentagon

Ariane Tabatabai () is an Iranian-American political science expert and author. She is a senior policy advisor to the United States Department of Defense. ''Internet Leaks'' is the second Extended play, EP released by the American parody musician "Weird Al" Yankovic. Released digitally on August 25, 2009, its lead single is a parody of "Whatever You Like (T.I. song), Whatever You Like" by artist T.I. For Yankovic, the EP was an experiment in using the Internet as a way to release music in an efficient and timely manner.
