Iran B is a soccer, football team run occasionally as support for the Iran national football team. At times, they have played other nations' full teams, and have also played matches against 'A' and 'B' teams from other football associations. The Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran (FFIRI; , ''Fadrasion fotbal Jamehori Eslami Iran'') is the governing body for football in Iran. It was founded in 1920. The federation has been a member of FIFA since 1948 and a member of the Asian Football Confederation since 1958. Oceano Andrade da Cruz (born 29 July 1962), known simply as Oceano, is a Portuguese former professional footballer, currently a manager. António Simões da Costa (; born 14 December 1943), known as Simões, is a Portuguese former footballer who played as a left winger. He spent 14 professional seasons with Benfica, playing 449 official games and scoring 72 goals. Markar Aghajanyan (, ; born March 4, 1965) is a retired Iranian football player and manager of Armenian descent. Career Aghajanyan spent most of his career playing for Ararat Tehran FC. He later went on to join a series of Tehran-based teams, most notably PAS, where he won the Iran Pro League division in his first season. With the departure of Human Afazeli, Aghajanyan was appointed the manager of Azadegan League side Damash Lorestan. The team chose not to renew his contract for the 2010–11 season. Parviz Mazloumi
Parviz Mazloomi (, born 16 September 1954) is a former Iranian footballer who is the team manager of the Esteghlal. He played for Esteghlal and Tractor Sazi in the 1970s and 1980s. He also managed many clubs such as Saba Battery, Sanat Naft, Aboumoslem, Mes Kerman and Esteghlal. He was also head coach of Iran B team in 2007 West Asian Football Federation Championship which won the title. Early life Parviz Mazloumi was born on 16 September 1954 in Abadan, Iran. He had an older brother, Gholam Hossein Mazloumi who also was a well-known football player and played for both Esteghlal and Iran national football team. Bijan Zolfagharnasab (, born June 7, 1949, in Sanandaj) is a retired Iranian football player and currently a football manager. He started his professional career with Pas Tehran, before changing to Persepolis F.C. in 1974. There he could win the Iranian championship in 1976 and reach runner-up position in 1975, in 1977 and in 1978. After the Iranian Revolution he remained playing for Persepolis winning the Iranian nationwide tournament Espandi Cup in 1979 before retiring from football and starting his studies in Physical Education in Brussels. Nasser Ebrahimi (born 15 May 1941 in Isfahan, Iran) is an Iranian retired football player and manager. Ebrahimi began playing football with the Shahin in the age of 22. Heshmatollah Mohajerani (, born 13 December 1939) is a retired Iranian association football midfielder and manager. Early life and playing career Mohajerani was born to Asadoolah Mohajerani and Leila Nassiri in a family of six siblings. After years, his family moved to Tehran and his older brothers began playing football in Taj's youth teams.
