The Official Credit Institute (; ICO) is a Spanish lending institution. Its functions include funding investment projects and the assistance for the liquidity needs of Spanish companies. It also operates as State Financial Agency. A successor to the ''Instituto de Crédito a Medio y Largo Plazo'', the ICO was created in 1971 following the as public law entity (''entidad de derecho público''). Previously under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, it became a State company in 1989. The bank is currently attached to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation through the . Paseo Del Prado
The Paseo del Prado is one of the main boulevards in Madrid, Spain. It runs north–south between the Plaza de Cibeles and the Plaza del Emperador Carlos V (also known as Plaza de Madrid Atocha railway station, Atocha), with the Plaza de Cánovas del Castillo (the location of the Fountain of Neptune (Madrid), Fuente de Neptuno, and of the Ritz and Palace five-star hotels) lying approximately in the middle. The Paseo del Prado forms the southern end of the city's central axis (which continues to the north of Cibeles as the Paseo de Recoletos, and further north as the Paseo de la Castellana). It enjoys the status of ''Bien de Interés Cultural'' (BIC), and as part of a combined UNESCO World Heritage Site with Parque del Buen Retiro, Madrid, Buen Retiro Park. Ramón Aguirre Rodríguez
Ramón Aguirre Rodríguez (born 3 March 1953 in Madrid, Spain) is a Spanish politician who belongs to the People's Party (Spain), People's Party (PP). Aguirre worked as a bank director and later served as Vice-secretary General of the Popular Alliance (Spain), Popular Alliance (AP). In 1989 the AP merged with other parties to form the current PP and in that year Aguirre was elected to the Congress of Deputies (Spain), Spanish Congress of Deputies representing Caceres (Spanish Congress Electoral District), Caceres Province and headed the PP list at several elections being re-elected in 1993, 1996 and 2000. However, in the latter year he resigned after being appointed President of the Official Credit Institute (Instituto de Crédito Oficial/ICO) in July 2000. ''La Razón'' (; ) is a daily newspaper based in Madrid, Spain. It has the sixth-highest circulation among general-interest Spanish dailies, and the fourth-highest among those based in Madrid. Pablo Zalba Bidegain (born 28 January 1975) is a Spanish economist and politician and has been a Member of the European Parliament (MEP), for the European People's Party, in office June 2009 to November 2016.
