Inseparables (song)
"Inseparables" is a song by American regional Mexican trio Yahritza y su Esencia and American singer-songwriter Iván Cornejo. It was released on October 7, 2022 as the lead single from the former's second EP '' Obsessed Pt. 2'' (2023). Composition "Inseparables" is a sierreño ballad that finds Yahritza Martínez and Iván Cornejo singing about missing their lovers and their desire to be in their company. The instrumental is composed of 12-string guitar and bajoloche. Critical reception Remezcla wrote that "Yahritza's inimitable and rather alto-leaning vocals meet Cornejo's deeper, more baritone voice to coexist beautifully over the wistful melody". Yahritza y su Esencia (Yahritza and Her Essence) is an American trio from Washington state's Yakima Valley who specialize in regional Mexican music; specifically the urban sierreño subgenre. The band are three siblings: Yahritza Martínez (vocals and acoustic guitar), Armando (Mando) Martínez (twelve-string guitar), and Jairo Martínez (acoustic bass). For the week of April 9, 2022, their song " Soy el Único" appeared on the ''Billboard'' Global 200. Yahritza wrote the song when she was fourteen. Remezcla is an American media company focusing on the Latin American cultural sphere. It serves the millennial market. History The brand was founded by Claire Frisbie, Andrew Herrera and Nuria Net in 2006, had no outside funding; it first received external funding in 2017, from the Hemisphere Media Group, which was used to "aggressively" expand its video content production. Iván Cornejo (born June 5, 2004), is an American singer-songwriter in the regional Mexican genre. Early life and education Cornejo was born in Riverside, California. He endured a breakup in middle school that provided inspiration for songwriting and taught himself how to play the guitar by watching tutorials on YouTube. The acoustic bass guitar (sometimes shortened to acoustic bass or initialized ABG) is a bass instrument with a hollow wooden body similar to, though usually larger than, a steel-string acoustic guitar.
