Insane Championship Wrestling
Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW) is a professional wrestling promotion based in Glasgow, Scotland, founded by Mark Dallas in 2006. It mixes elements of traditional sports entertainment with hardcore wrestling; thus admittance is restricted to those over 18 years old. The company began expanding across the UK, and was featured in a ''Vice Magazine'' documentary in 2012 and BBC documentary in 2014. It was named ''UK Promotion of the Year'' by '' Fighting Spirit Magazine'' in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2018. ICW formerly aired on cable television station MyChannel across Europe. ICW records and releases the majority of their shows on limited edition DVD as well as producing series of their own YouTube show, ''ICW Worldwide''. ICW World Heavyweight Championship (Scotland)
The ICW World Heavyweight Championship is a professional wrestling world heavyweight championship owned by Scotland's Insane Championship Wrestling promotion. The title was first established as the ICW National Heavyweight Championship at ICW's debut show on 15 October 2006, with Drew Galloway becoming the inaugural champion. On 7 February 2015, the title was officially renamed the ICW World Heavyweight Championship after Galloway successfully defended the title in a match against Matt Hardy for the Family Wrestling Entertainment promotion in New York. The championship has been defended in the United Kingdom, Ireland, the United States, Australia, Denmark, Italy, Germany, Spain, Sweden and Canada. Michael John Gilbert (born 16 July 1980) is a professional wrestler, better known by his ring name Mikey Whiplash. He currently resides in Glasgow, Scotland and wrestled for numerous promotions in the British Independent circuit. A mockumentary (a portmanteau of ''mock'' and ''documentary'') is a type of film or television show depicting fictional events, but presented as a Documentary film, documentary. Mockumentaries are often used to analyze or comment on current events and issues in a satirical way by using a fictional setting, or to parody the documentary form itself. ICW Tag Team Championship
The ICW Tag Team Championship is a professional wrestling Championship (professional wrestling) owned by Scotland's Insane Championship Wrestling promotion. Complimenting ICW's two established singles titles ( ICW World Heavyweight Championship and ICW Zero-G Championship), the Tag Team Championship was first established on September 2, 2012 when The S.T.I (Dickie Divers and William Grange) won a tournament final to become the inaugural champions. The Garage, Glasgow
The Garage (formerly known as The Mayfair) is a music venue and nightclub located at 490 Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow, Scotland. The club was founded by Donald C MacLeod, a veteran within Scotland's live music scene. It is Scotland's largest nightclub, opening its doors in 1994.
