Indonesian Volleyball Federation
The Indonesian Volleyball Federation, commonly called PBVSI ( Indonesian: ''Persatuan Bola Voli Seluruh Indonesia)'' sometimes translated as All-Indonesian Volleyball Association) is the governing body of volleyball and beach volleyball in Indonesia. Formed in 1955, its headquarters are in Pancoran, South Jakarta. The PBVSI is a member of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) and the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC), as well as the volleyball sports in the National Sports Committee of Indonesia. It organizes both the Men's Pro Liga and women's Pro Liga. The organization also administrates the Indonesia Men's Volleyball Team and the Indonesia Women's Volleyball Team. Men's Asian U20 Volleyball Championship
The Asian Men's U20 Volleyball Championship is an international volleyball competition in Asia and Oceania contested by the under 20 men's national teams of the members of Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC), the sport's continent governing body. Tournaments have been awarded every two years since 1980. The top four teams qualified for the FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship. The current champion is Iran, which won its seventh title at the 2024 tournament. The 20 Asian Championship tournaments have been won by four different national teams: Iran have won seven times, South Korea with six title, China with four titles, and Japan with three titles. 2013 FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship
The 2013 FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship was held in Turkey for ten days, from 22 August to 1 September 2013. This was the first edition of the tournament that features 20 teams. Competition formula The 20 teams will be divided into four pools of five teams each and will play a round-robin tournament. The bottom-ranked team of each pool will play classification matches for 17th-20th place in a round-robin system. The other 16 teams progress to the Eight Finals which consists of a playoff (1st of Pool A against 4th of Pool B etc.). The winners of the playoff matches will advance to the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals to be classified from 1st to 8th while the losers of playoff match will play classification matches, with a similar quarterfinals, semifinals and finals system, to be classified from 9th to 16th.
