''Imagínate...'' is a studio album by the Puerto Rican boy band Menudo (group), Menudo, released in 1994 in music, 1994.. The album featured the members Abel Talamántez, Alexis Grullón, Andy Blázquez, Ashley Ruiz and Ricky López, and is the second album recorded by this line-up. Songs and promotion While promoting the album in Peru, the song "Los Amigos y Las Amigas" was accused of plagiarism of the song "Los Patos y Las Patas" by singer :es:Raúl Romero, Raúl Romero, a member of the group Los Nosequién y Los Nosecuántos. Edgardo Díaz, Menudo's manager, denied the accusations, stating that the term "plagiarism" was being misused, as the word "patas" was simply replaced with a synonym due to the pejorative use of the word "pato" in Puerto Rico. The Peruvian authorities banned the distribution and commercialization of the song. Menudo is a Puerto Rican boy band formed by producer Edgardo Díaz. ''Vem Pra Mim'' is the fifth and final album in Portuguese by the group Menudo, released in 1993. This was the only album performed by the lineup composed of Abel Talamántez, Alexis Grullón, Andy Blázquez, Ashley Ruiz, and new member Ricky López. Ricky replaced Adrián Olivares, who decided to leave the group. The album features 12 tracks, including Portuguese versions of songs originally recorded in Spanish by other Menudo lineups. The track "Eu Só Queria" includes a special guest appearance by Brazilian TV host Mylla Christie, known for hosting the TV show '' Clube da Criança'' on Rede Manchete. Her participation was recorded in October 1993. ''Tiempo de Amar'' is Menudo's 36th album (23rd in Spanish), released in 1996.. The album features the members: Abel Talamántez, Alexis Grullón, Andy Blázquez, and new members Didier Hernández from Cuba, and Anthony Galindo from Venezuela. Abel Talamántez Mendoza (born October 16, 1978, in Pecos, Texas), is an American singer, songwriter and record producer. He is currently a vocalist for the bands Cruz Martínez Y Los Super Reyes and Los EnVivo Kings. He is also a former member of the bands Menudo, MDO, and A.B. Quintanilla Y Los Kumbia Kings. Talamántez was the second member of Mexican origin in Menudo. Biography Abel Talamántez Mendoza was born in Pecos, Texas, to Mexican parents. José Ricardo "Ricky" López Jiménez (Born on September 6, 1980) is a singer and former member of the well known boy band, Menudo. Singing career Ricky López was discovered musically at age 13, when he was chosen to become a member of Menudo. Edgardo Diaz chose to nickname him "Ricky III", because of Ricky Meléndez and Ricky Martin's earlier stints in the group. López soon became known as "Ricky III" by Menudo fans in Puerto Rico and the rest of Latin America.
