''I Think We're Gonna Need a Bigger Boat'' is the debut album of the British electronic act the Brighton Port Authority. It was released on Southern Fried on 6 January 2009 exclusively on amazon.com, with a regular release on 3 February. The Brighton Port Authority is a project of British musician Norman Cook, better known as Fatboy Slim, and his longtime engineer, Simon Thornton. The album features collaborations with DJ Danger Mouse, Tom Gandey (aka Cagedbaby), Justin Robertson, Ashley Beedle, Lateef, Martha Wainwright, Jamie T, David Byrne, Dizzee Rascal, Iggy Pop, Olly Hite, Connan Mockasin, Pete York, Jack Peñate and Emmy the Great. Indie rock is a Music subgenre, subgenre of rock music that originated in the United Kingdom, United States and New Zealand in the early to mid-1980s. Ashley Beedle (born November 25, 1962, in Hemel Hempstead, England) is a British house music DJ and producer. He was a member of the groups Black Science Orchestra and X-Press 2 in addition to releasing material under his own name. Career Beedle first began DJing in the late 1980s during the heyday of acid house. After hearing Norman Jay on KISS FM, he became more interested in deep disco. Peter York (born 15 August 1942 in Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, England) is an English rock drummer who has been performing since the 1960s. Biography Born in Middlesbrough but growing up in Redcar, York attended the Nottingham High School and learnt to play the trumpet and snare drum in a school band, he also attended Trent College. Upon leaving school he embarked on a commercial apprenticeship. He was one of the original members of the Spencer Davis Group, along with Spencer Davis and the brothers Steve and Muff Winwood. Connan Tant Hosford, better known by the stage name Connan Mockasin, is a New Zealand musician, composer and record producer.
