IWA Caribbean Heavyweight Championship
The IWA Puerto Rico Championship (''Campeonato de Puerto Rico de la IWA'' in Spanish) is a regional championship originally defended in the International Wrestling Association of Puerto Rico (IWA-PR), where it was a mid-tier title. When it was originally known as the IWA Caribbean Championship, it was some time unified with another secondary accolade, the original IWA Puerto Rico Heavyweight Championship. It was later reintroduced as a stand-alone title and deactivated when the promotion entered seven years of inactivity in 2012. In 2019, the belt was revived and introduced to Major League Wrestling (MLW), as Savio Vega was announced as the “Caribbean Heavyweight Champion” upon making his debut. In 2020, Richard Holliday began a streak of unofficial defenses after taking possession of the belt following a non-title match. Story wise, the Caribbean Heavyweight Championship was not initially sanctioned by MLW, only acquiring affiliation as it became the centerpiece of the promoti ...

International Wrestling Association (Puerto Rico)
The International Wrestling Association is a conglomerate of professional wrestling promotions that originated in Puerto Rico and currently operates there. Founded in 1994 by wrestler promoter Víctor Quiñones and wrestler Miguel Perez Jr. it quickly entered an agreement to serve as a development territory for the World Wrestling Federation (now known as WWE) that lasted until 2001. Besides a number of alliances with foreign promotions that included Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, International Wrestling Association of Japan (which Quiñones also co-founded in 1994), IWA Mid-South, and Ring of Honor (ROH), the company was also a member of the National Wrestling Alliance between 2007 and 2008. The original incarnation ceased operations in 2012. On October 24, 2018, th ...

The Roman work ''Satyricon'', written by Petronius, includes a passage mentioning the phrase painted on a wall with large letters, in the chapter ''Dinner with Trimalchio''. Philippians 3:2 is translated as "beware of the dogs" or "beware of dogs" in the King James Bible and many other editions.
