The is an electric multiple unit (EMU) train type for local services on the Chichibu Main Line operated by the private railway operator Chichibu Railway in Japan since March 2009. Details Two 3-car trains were converted from former Tokyu 8500 series cars, and entered service from 26 March 2009. The end cars of the second set, 7002, were modified from former intermediate cars with the addition of new driving cabs. Nankai Electric Railway
is a private railway in Japan, founded in 1884. The name ''Nankai'' (which means "South Sea") comes from the company's routes along the Nankaidō, the old highway that ran south from the old capital, Kyoto, along the sea coast. Nankai predates all the electric railways in the Tokyo region. The Nankai network branches out in a generally southern direction from Namba Station in Osaka. The Nankai Main Line connects Osaka to Wakayama, with an important spur branching to Kansai International Airport. 7000 Series (Chicago "L")
The 7000-series of rail cars was ordered by the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) for the Chicago "L". The base order is for 400 cars and will be used to replace the 1980s-vintage 2600-series cars, currently assigned to the Blue, Brown, and Orange Lines. If the CTA ordered the additional 446 cars, these would replace the 3200-series cars from the early 1990s, which are currently assigned to the Blue and Brown Lines. Including all options, which is a total of 846 cars, the order will cost $1.3 billion. The contract called for ten prototypes to be delivered by October 2019. If the rail cars proved to be acceptable, then full production cars would be delivered starting in October 2020, at a rate of 10 cars per month. The cost per car is approximately $1.58 million. Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit Corporation (SMRT) was established in 1994 to operate the Seoul Subway lines 5, 6, 7, 8 in Seoul, South Korea. Toei 7000 Series
The is a tramcar type formerly operated by Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation (Toei) on the Toden Arakawa Line in Tokyo, Japan. The tramcars date from the 1950s, but were rebuilt in 1977 with new bodies. The last remaining 7000 series tramcars were withdrawn following the final day of operations on 10 June 2017.
