''Haunt'' is a 2019 American slasher film written and directed by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods. The film stars Katie Stevens, Will Brittain, and Lauryn McClain. Set on a Halloween night, it follows a group of friends who encounter a haunted house that promises to feed on their darkest fears. The night turns deadly as they come to the horrifying realization that some nightmares are real. ''Haunt'' premiered at Popcorn Frights Film Festival on August 8, 2019, and it had a limited release in the United States on September 13, by Momentum Pictures. Scott Beck And Bryan Woods
Scott Beck (born October 22, 1984) and Bryan Woods (born September 14, 1984) are an American filmmaking duo. They co-wrote the post-apocalyptic science fiction horror film ''A Quiet Place'' (2018), and wrote and directed the supernatural thriller '' Nightlight'' (2015), the slasher film ''Haunt'' (2019), and the science fiction action thriller '' 65'' (2023). Lives and careers Beck was born in Denver, Colorado and Woods was born in Davenport, Iowa. Both were raised in Bettendorf, Iowa. While attending the University of Iowa together, the two founded Bluebox Films and made the films ''Her Summer'' and '' University Heights''. Grauman's Egyptian Theatre is a historic movie theater located at 6706 Hollywood Blvd. in Hollywood, California. Opened in 1922, it is an early example of a lavish movie palace and is noted as having been the site of the first-ever Hollywood film premiere. FrightFest, also known as Arrow Video FrightFest is an annual film festival held in London and Glasgow. The festival holds three major events each year: a festival running five days over the UK late August Bank Holiday weekend, a Halloween event held in London in late October, and a festival in Glasgow held around February as part of the Glasgow Film Festival.
