Héctor Silva (rugby Union)
Héctor Luis Silva (1 July 1945 – 17 May 2021) was an Argentine rugby union footballer and coach, who coached Argentina in the 1987 Rugby World Cup. Biography Between 14 and 18 years, he played rugby and basketball; he practiced rugby in the youth team of his city, Rugby Club Los Tilos from La Plata, and at 18 years he was in the first team; at 20 years, in 1965, he debuted for Argentina in a test match against the Junior Springboks in South Africa, during a tour which saw 11 wins in 16 matches. Becoming captain for Argentina in 1967, he was excluded from the national team in 1971 due to Silva accepting to appear in a television advertisement; even if he was not formally suspended, he was not called up until 1977. La Plata
La Plata () is the capital city of Buenos Aires province, Argentina. According to the 2022 Argentina census, census, the La Plata Partido, Partido has a population of 772,618 and its metropolitan area, the Greater La Plata, has 938,287 inhabitants. It is located 9 kilometers (6 miles) inland from the southern shore of the estuary. COVID-19
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a contagious disease caused by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. In January 2020, the disease spread worldwide, resulting in the COVID-19 pandemic. The symptoms of COVID‑19 can vary but often include fever, fatigue, cough, breathing difficulties, anosmia, loss of smell, and ageusia, loss of taste. In the game of rugby union, there are 15 players on each team, comprising eight forwards (wearing jerseys numbered 1–8) and seven backs (numbered 9–15). In addition, there may be up to eight replacement players "on the bench", numbered 16–23. Players are not restricted to a single position, although they generally specialise in just one or two that suit their skills and body types. Players that play multiple positions are called "utility players". Ángel Guastella
Ángel Guastella (Buenos Aires, 7 November 1931 - San Miguel de Tucumán, 26 September 2016) was an Argentine rugby union footballer and coach. He played as fly-half. Biography Guastella was a founding member of Club Pueyrredón, of which he was a player for 10 years and then, a coach. In 2000, Guastella moved to San Miguel de Tucumán, where he spent his last years of life, being chairman of Tucumán Lawn Tennis Club and of Unión de Rugby de Tucumán. Career Guastella was an Argentine international with the Pumas between 1956 and 1960. He was first capped during a match against an Oxford and Cambridge XV in Buenos Aires, on 16 September 1956. World XV
A World XV (or World 15) is a rugby union team organised on an unofficial, ''ad hoc'' basis and typically composed of invited players from various countries. Several World XVs have been arranged by various bodies since the 1970s, often to take part in celebration and testimonial games, usually against national teams, but these are not considered test matches by most nations.
