Norrbotten County (, Meänkieli/, ) is the northernmost county or '' län'' of Sweden. It is also the largest county by land area, almost a quarter of Sweden's total area. It shares borders with Västerbotten County to the southwest, the Gulf of Bothnia to the southeast, the counties of Nordland and Troms in Norway to the northwest, and Lapland Province in Finland to the northeast. Mel Hurtig (June 24, 1932 – August 3, 2016) was a Canadian publisher, author, political activist, and political candidate. He was president of the Edmonton Art Gallery. He described himself as a Canadian nationalism, Canadian nationalist, while he also wrote several books critical of Canadian government policy. Early life and education Hurtig was born in Edmonton, Alberta, on 24 June 1932. His parents were Jewish immigrants: his father from Romania and his mother from Russia. Lisa Hurtig ( Lantz; born 26 August 1987) is a Swedish footballer who played as a defender for Linköpings FC. Club career Hurtig started playing football in Delsbo IF and then went to IF Team Hudik. In 2005, she was recruited by Sundsvalls DFF. Hurtig played 43 games for the club in Norrettan over two seasons. Before the 2007 season, Hurtig went to Bälinge IF. She made her debut in the Damallsvenskan during her time at the club and played a total of 32 matches. Before the 2009 season, Hurtig signed for Umeå Södra. In total, she played five seasons for the club. In February 2014, Hurtig was recruited by Umeå IK. Lina Mona Andréa Hurtig (; born 5 September 1995) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a forward for English Women's Super League club Arsenal and the Sweden national team. Club career When she was 15 years old, Hurtig played the 2011 season with Gustafs GoIF in the Norrettan, which at the time was the second division of Swedish football. Julius Hurtig (October 18, 1868 – March 9, 1928) was an American vaudeville and theatre producer. Life and career He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of Metta and Daniel Hurtig, who were German immigrants. Catarina Hurtig (born 2 March 1975) is a Swedish journalist and author and a participant in the first season of the TV show Kändisdjungeln (2009), Sweden's version of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! Lapland is the largest and northernmost region of Finland. The 21 municipalities in the region cooperate in a Regional Council. Lapland borders the Finnish region of North Ostrobothnia in the south.
