Hum Awards are annual Pakistani accolades bestowed by the Hum Network Limited in recognition of excellence in programming of television, fashion and music industry of Pakistan. Winners are awarded the Hum Award of Merit. The awards were first presented in 2013. Hum Network Limited () is a Pakistani media company based in Islamabad, Pakistan. It was established in February 2004 by Sultana Siddiqui. It’s also powered by Zee Network. It is a current member of Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (APBU), Association for International Broadcasting (AIB), and Commonwealth Broadcasting Association (CBA). History Hum Network Limited was established in February 2004 with the name of Eye TV Limited by Siddiqui. The name was later changed to Eye Television Network Limited on 18 November 2004. ''Udaari'' (title from ; lit: ''To fly'') is an Urdu and Punjabi language social Pakistani television series that was created and co-produced by Kashf Foundation and Momina Duraid for Hum TV. It focused on the social and economic marginalisation of citizens in Pakistani rural society alongside highlighting deeply rooted issues such as child sexual abuse, gender discrimination and violence against women. The 5th Hum Awards ceremony, presented by Pel, powered by QMobile and brought by Kashmir Cooking Oil & Banaspati, took place in Lahore on 29 April 2017 at 7:30pm PST. 4th Hum Awards
The 4th Hum Awards ceremony, presented by the Hum Television Network and Entertainment Channel (HTNEC), sponsored by Servis, honored the best in fashion, music and Hum Television Dramas of 2015. It took place on 23 April 2016, at the Expo Centre in Karachi, Sindh, beginning at 7:30 p.m. PST. During the ceremony, HTNEC presented Hum Awards in 25 categories.
