"Hostiles and Calamities" is the eleventh episode of the seventh season of the post-apocalyptic horror television series '' The Walking Dead'', which aired on AMC on February 26, 2017. The episode was written by David Leslie Johnson and directed by Kari Skogland. The episode focuses on Eugene's ( Josh McDermitt) experience and discovery that he must navigate the mysterious, confusing, and terrifying world within the Sanctuary where he unwillingly begins to work for Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). Concurrently, Dwight ( Austin Amelio) pays a visit to a place from his past. Josh McDermitt (born June 4, 1978) is an American actor and comedian. He is best known for playing Eugene Porter on AMC's '' The Walking Dead''. In 2006, McDermitt appeared on ''Last Comic Standing'' as a contestant. McDermitt had a main role on the sitcom '' Retired at 35'' from 2011 to 2012, playing the character Brandon. TV by the Numbers was a website devoted to collecting and analyzing television ratings data in the United States that operated from 2007 to 2020. It was a part of Nexstar Media Group's Zap2it television news/listings site. History An Internet and statistical analyst, Robert Seidman had previously worked for IBM and Charles Schwab, and published an online newsletter about the Internet and AOL before founding TV by the Numbers; Bill Gorman had been an AOL executive until 1998, and had read Seidman's column. Daryl Dixon is a fictional character from AMC's horror drama series '' The Walking Dead'', and the protagonist of its last three seasons, replacing Rick Grimes.
