The Hong Kong national football team (; recognised as Hong Kong, China by FIFA) represents Hong Kong in international association football, football and is controlled by the Football Association of Hong Kong, China, the governing body for football in Hong Kong. Hong Kong hosted the first AFC Asian Cup in 1956 and won third place, also reaching the semifinals in 1964. Hong Kong did not qualify for another AFC tournament until 2023 AFC Asian Cup, 2023. They had never qualified for the FIFA World Cup but have qualified for the EAFF E-1 Football Championship five times, in 2003, 2010, 2019, 2022 and 2025. Hong Kong Stadium
Hong Kong Stadium is the main sports venue of Hong Kong. Redeveloped from the original Government Stadium, it reopened as Hong Kong Stadium in March 1994. It has a maximum seating capacity of 40,000, including 18,260 at the main level, 3,173 at executive level, 18,510 upper-level seats and 57 seats for wheelchair users. The stadium is located in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong Island, in valley of Caroline Hill. It hosted the 1956 AFC Asian Cup, inaugural AFC Asian Cup finals and the AFC Women's Asian Cup for four times. Marinos of the J1 League. Zhang Enhua ( zh, s=张恩华, t=張恩華, p=Zhāng Ēnhuá; 28 April 1973 – 29 April 2021) was a Chinese professional football player and coach. As a player, he was a defender from 1994 to 2006 and represented Dalian Wanda FC, Grimsby Town, Tianjin Teda and South China while internationally he was a participant at the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
