Hollywood Heritage Championship
The UWN Heritage Heavyweight Championship is a title controlled by the United Wrestling Network, and defended in Championship Wrestling. The title was established on October 21, 2006 as the NWA Heritage Championship. Title history On January 1, 2012, the championship was abandoned after champion Atsushi Sawada lost the championship belt during the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami. On May 5, 2013, Scorpio Sky pinned Shaun Ricker in a rematch from the Red Carpet Rumble tournament, from earlier that day, to re-establish the title as the CWFH Heritage Heavyweight Championship. On August 24, 2014, The Hobo challenged Ricky Mandel to a dumpster match, in which he won by putting Mandel in the dumpster; this was the first time the championship changed hands in a dumpster gimmick match. Championship Wrestling (formally known as Championship Wrestling from Hollywood (CWFH)) is an American professional wrestling promotion and television program created by David Marquez, who serves as the promotion's president and on-camera interviewer. The television series originally premiered on September 17, 2010, and aired on KDOC-TV Los Angeles as well as first-run syndication in the United States. Russell Gene Taylor (born January 26, 1987), is an American professional wrestler better known by the ring name of Tyler Rust in WWE. After WWE, he would adopt the ring name Taylor Rust in NJPW and ROH, however prior to WWE, he was known in his independent career as Ryan Taylor and later Rust Taylor. Richard Mathey (born June 27, 1987) is an American professional wrestler who currently competes on the independent circuit and also wrestles for Lucha Underground and Championship Wrestling from Hollywood. Professional wrestling career Lucha Underground (2014–2019) Mathey debuted on Lucha Underground in a dark match on October 15, 2014 in a losing effort to Hernandez as a jobber.
